Oh Yeah It’s Monday! Time To Smash Goals!!! #BuildWithThePowerOfTheUniverse @SaturnMuscle

Happy Monday!

I am always excited to start a new week! Here it is the end of the month and as usual, I am running behind. I promise later this week I will have my goal recap up and new goals posted. Between my midterm, training, and Thanksgiving, my priorities haven’t been with my blog and I apologize xoxo. I am striving to be better with that xoxo

All that aside, this week is going to be an awesome week!!! Set the bar high and make sure you are clearing it everyday! I make it a point to sit quietly for 5-10 mins every morning to clearly think about my overall goals. To picture them clearly in my head. It gets me motivated and ready to tackle my training. If I go into the gym with a motivated mind, I know I will push myself harder. Be stronger, work harder, want it bad enough!!!!

Let’s show ’em what we are made of!!!

Being Grateful & Giving Back #AlwaysInHisName #ChristianAthlete

Hope you all had the most wonderful Thanksgiving. We were blessed with not only an abundance of delicious food, but also the company of each other. My greatest blessings are my husband and daughter. To be able to spend the day with them, cooking, laughing, sharing, and loving, that is what means the most to me during the holiday season.

Thanksgiving 2015

As Josh and I conversed, we talked about all of the ups and downs we have had this year and how our faith in God brought us, not only through those storms, but helped us develop our strengths and faith for the next obstacles we will face. We know how blessed we are. We are taking baby steps in learning how to manage our debts and still be able to give back in His name. This week, it is buying throw blankets on sale and bottled water for the homeless we come across while we explore the city. It isn’t much, but certainly a start. We know that there is an over abundance of people here in need. We may not have a lot, but we can spare some to those who have nothing. We want to teach Zoe to not only be grateful for what she has, but to share what she can with others. We need to lead by example. As we start to grow our business over the next few years, giving back to the community will be a top priority. I feel that we have gotten this far by God’s grace, mercy, and love. We want to share His word and his light with others.

Today I rejoice in the fact that God has opened not only my eyes, but the eyes of my husband. We both have turned our lives around and devoted ourselves to living in His holy name. We are not perfect. Matter of fact, we are both far from it, but we are trying. We love to glorify His name.

We thank you dear Lord for the many blessings you have given us. Although there are times when we bring you shame, you continue to lift us up in grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Your love and patience is a truly beautiful and remarkable thing. Something Josh and I are still learning as parents. We are thankful that you continue to push us and teach us to be strong. We are thankful that you lead us where we are needed. We are thankful for the memories you are allowing us to create. Thank you Lord for the life lessons and the ability to share our love.

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but thegrace of God which was with me.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Zephaniah 3:17 – The LORD thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

1 Timothy 2:3 – For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Happy Monday!!!! Who’s Ready For Some Turkey??? #PoweredBySaturnSupplements @SaturnMuscle

Happy Monday!!!

I am always excited for a new week, but this week is Thanksgiving!!! I am SO excited to enjoy some delicious food with my family. I have a decadent menu planned …

~ Apple Cider, Bourbon Roasted Turkey

~ Bacon and Scallion Bread Pudding

~ New Potatoes and Green Beans

~ Jalapeno and Cheese Corn Casserole

~ Maple Glazed Carrots (Cut into pumpkin shapes for Zoe)

~Spinach and Artichoke Dip Bread Ring

~Cinnamon Roll Crusted Bacon and Bourbon Pecan Pie

~ Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake Pull Apart Bread

Many of these are new recipes and we are so excited to try them!!! I took my midterms last night. I have my next assignments, but nothing is due this week, which is nice. Between training and prepping for Thanksgiving, I will be super busy ha ha. My gym is open 365 days a year, but the daycare is unfortunately not. They are closed on Thursday and Friday. Since Josh will be home for the holiday, I will go in and train on Thursday morning before I start cooking, but Friday I will have to train that night after Josh gets home. Since he will have to work so late, I will probably just train here at the apartment gym, but might change my mind and head over to the big gym ha ha who knows. I will train regardless 😉  Reverse dieting has been going phenomenal! My body is progressing and adapting well. I went up in calories last Wednesday and my weight went down by 5lbs. Even with it being shark week ha ha. Needless to say, I am happy that they are on the way up again this week. Just a small raise again on Wednesday. Thursday I won’t track anything and will just enjoy the holiday. I think too many people freak out over the holiday season and their diets. One day will not make or break you. I feel it is more important to just enjoy the day with family and friends. I have tried to do the holidays strictly. I made it miserable not just for me, but for my family as well. I personally plan on enjoying my family and all the food we prepared together. Those memories you can’t get back, cherish them and get back to your program on Friday xoxo

Let’s start the week strong shall we? As always a little Lady Swole Monday….

Hope you all enjoy your week!!!! xoxo

Motivation Monday; Time To Get Strong #PoweredBySaturnSupplements @SaturnMuscle

I am always excited for Monday! It is a new start to the week. I am a firm believer that YOU make your own circumstances. Make this week a phenomenal one, by starting out on a good, strong, positive note!!!!

Last week I started my new training. It kicked my butt!!! My body is still recuperating from the competition, so I felt pretty weak last Monday. By Yesterday, I was feeling like my old self again. My strength is almost back to full. My diet is still in what I consider poverty macros, but moving on up. I will have to wait till after next week to make any diet assessments, because shark week is about to grace me with it’s presence ha ha ha. My weight is too unstable to really monitor, for that matter, so is my body. I am still feeling really lean for the most part. That bloat has me this week ha ha. I also started back up on my creatine, which has my muscles much fuller. I am taking a different approach to my off season this year. I am really going to focus more on hypertrophy training and keeping my nutrition in check, so i don’t over do it like I did last year. I rushed my bulking process and put on a whooping 40+lbs. It definitely made my prep more difficult and longer. I am keeping cardio in my training this off season and really going to monitor my body composition as my calories increase. Taking things slower and really focusing on lean growth. Learning a ton from my NASM CPT course. I have midterms this week, which I am excited about. Excited, because it means I am halfway done and closer to starting my online training. I have huge things planned and I am really excited about this next adventure in life! For now, let’s kick this week off right! I am ready to get more motivated and to help get your engines running 😉 As always, Lady Swole Monday….

Let’s get out there and achieve our goals!!!!

Sunday Devotional: Reignite Your Faith #ChristianAthlete #AlwaysInHisName

Just as I try to stay motivated in my health and fitness, I think it is equally important to stay motivated in my faith. I do my best to follow in the path that Jesus has left for us. Like anyone, I do occasionally stray. I have tendencies to harbor anger towards people, to be envious, etc. I am a christian, but I am far from perfect. Blessed that God’s grace is bigger than my sins!

In the past, I was filled with anxiety. I felt like I wasn’t good enough to claim God’s love. I felt that to spread his word and his grace meant that I had to be better; that I had to be closer to perfect. I sometimes think that others may feel the same way. That you have to have this holier than thou type of persona to be a Christ follower. This is so far from the truth! EVERYONE sins. We all have our faults. It is what makes us human. To strive to live as Jesus did, is the key, but there will be slip-ups along the way. The greatest blessing we have is the fact that Jesus chose to die for each and every sin we make. God already knows that we will make mistakes. His love and grace is unconditional though.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to believe. I know that God is in my heart. Even on my worst days. Instead of fearing what others think of my faith, I chose to reignite it. I chose to spread his word, his love, and his grace. His judgement is the only one I am concerned with. Does it mean I will live without sin? No, unfortunately I will always have my faults. What it does mean, is that I can turn to my Father for forgiveness. Studying his word, talking with Him daily, and sharing his love, THIS is how I reignite my faith. This is how I lift His name on high. This is how I give Him glory.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Psalms 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Revelation 21:4 – And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Galatians 2:20 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I hope you all have an amazing Sunday and I thank you for glorifying his name with me xoxo

Saturn Supplement’s Spotlight…K-Pump Hydrate and Creatine Silk #GetRealResults @SaturnMuscle

Saturn Supplements Spotlight…

I am excited to talk about two of my favorite products, K-Pump Hydrate and Creatine Silk.

kpump and creatine silk

Both are phenomenal products!!! K-Pump Hydrate is perfect for prep, off-season, or for anyone looking to improve their workouts. I drink it during my training. It keeps me focused, energized, hydrated, and gives the most amazing pump! I actually sipped on it before going onstage to help keep my muscles full and pumped. It is a remarkable addition to anyone’s supplement arsenal!!! Packed full of musce building aminos & fat burning energizers, you can’t go wrong with this one. It is one of Saturn’s most popular products for a reason.

“ Saturn’s K-Pump is the ideal Pre-Workout Muscle Pumping/Strength-Endurance Energy Formula! Packed full of Performance Activators, Muscle Building Amino Acids, Mental Focus Actives, and Body Trimming Energizers. K-Pump contains the means to deliver! To enhance the overall effectiveness of our Pump and Endurance Drink, K-Pump is formulated with an impressive burst of muscle building protein, enriched with amino acids. Calorie burning, muscle building, nutrient replenishing, performance powerhouse. K-Pump makes the perfect addition to any strength and health program. “

The Creatine Silk is another staple in my stack.

What is Creatine? Defined by Medical News Today ~ “Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid produced in the liver that helps supply energy to cells all over the body – particularly muscle cells. It is made out of three amino acids: L-arginine, glycine, and L-methionine.”  Basically, it’s an amino acid that is naturally found in any food that contains protein.

Used by various athletes for muscle gains, but it is also commonly used to treat many things as well. Disorders such as Arthritis, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, Depression, Congestive heart failure, and even improved cognitive ability.

Creatine Silk Benefits

~ It increases your body’s capacity to endure high intensity workouts. It increases energy and strengthens muscle fibers. This equates to pumping out more reps, going faster, stronger, and harder.

~ Volumizes your muscles. You may have heard people say that Creatine will cause you to hold water. This is actually a true statement, but not in the regards to how your monthly will make you hold water. With Creatine, you will hold an extra 3-5lbs of water in your muscles. It aids in synthesizing protein, which equates to muscle growth 😉

~Increases Brain function. This can benefit you by helping you stay focused throughout your training

~ It may reduce age related muscle loss. ” Creatine has also been shown to improve isometric strength in addition to body composition in older adults, provided a strength-training program is run concurrently 1. In their double blind study, Brose and colleagues assigned 28 healthy men and women – over age 65 – to a 14 week resistance training exercise program, during which these subjects trained three days a week.14 of these participants were given five grams of creatine mixed with two grams of dextrose while the other 14 subjects received a placebo of seven grams of dextrose. After the 14 weeks, the creatine group were found to have experienced greater increases in fat free mass and total body mass, in addition to improvements in isometric knee extension strength. This study helps to confirm the role creatine can play in offsetting age related muscle wasting, if combined with a strength training regime.”

With stats like that, I don’t know why you wouldn’t have it in your supplement stack?

Happy Monday! New Week, Let’s Get To Work!!! #BuildWithThePowerOfTheUniverse @SaturnMuscle

Happy Monday!!!

Hope you all had a restful weekend! If you follow me on social media, then you are well aware of mine ha ha ha. My competition was Saturday. They haven’t posted the score cards yet, but I believe placed somewhere between 6-8th place in both Open Figure B and Masters Figure 35+ classes. Not exactly the placement I was hoping for, but it was a stacked class. The women here in Vegas definitely brought their best!!! I did much better than last year, brought a better physique than last year, learned so much more, and the best part is I made a ton of new friends! Overall I was very pleased with the competition!

Today it is back to work! Reverse dieting has started. Now I continue with training to continue to grow. I think my size, or lack there of is what held me back, so I need to grow more. I am excited to do this off season right! For now let’s just start with his week 😉 As always, I kick it off with Lady Swole Monday…

Sit down figure out what you want, how bad you want it, and what methods you are going to take to get there. Now, let’s do this!!!

November Goals!!! #PowereBySaturnSupplements @SaturnMuscle

Better late than never 😉 Time to get these November goals up!

Such an awesome month! Not only is it my competition month, but cooler weather and we get to prepare for the holidays!!!! This month, for me is going to be all about getting everything back to normal, from my diet to my schedule. I hope you all have your November goals posted somewhere that will help keep you accountable. One tip i always recommend is to set small goals. Like taking a step on a stair case. Every month equals one step towards your big goals whatever they may be.

November Goals

Goal One Begin The Reverse Dieting Process. One of the biggest problems competitors have after competitions is excessive weight gain. As much as I would love to jump back into off season eating habits, it would only lead me to gaining a lot of weight REALLY fast. I actually rushed my reverse dieting last year and gained more weight than I should have. I started out great, then wanted jumped right into bulking and that was a bad idea ha ha. This year I am going to stick to the plan, because I know that I have the discipline for it. Basically, reverse dieting is a slow progression back up in calories ie macros. going up slowly and allowing my body to adjust before trying to increase too fast. This will help me make the muscle gains I will need in the off season, without the excessive fat gains. This way I can spend next prep training smarter, not harder. This year I was taught that hard lesson. This prep was definitely longer and more difficult that it should have been. It’s like I always say, it is a learning process and with making the mistakes, I wouldn’t have learned.

Goal Two Study As Much As I Can In My Down Time. I need to get this CPT complete, so I can start contributing to this household financially as well pursue the humanitarian aid project that I want to start here in Vegas. I have doing my best up till this point. My last quiz was less than stellar. I thought I had studied enough and absorbed the info, but I obviously did not. I rushed the process, because of the fear of trying to take the quiz on competition day. I should have slowed it down and taken my time. With the competition out of the way, I will be able to concentrate more on my studies and put my complete focus there. Becoming a CPT is a huge dream of mine that is finally becoming a reality. i want to make sure that I am taking advantage of every bit of knowledge that is being imparted on me. Especially since I am not stopping there! My education will continue after this certification!!!

Goal Three Plan The Thanksgiving And Christmas Menus. Thanksgiving and Christmas are a HUGE deal to us. We love having our family meals that we cook and eat together. I love the memories made in the kitchen with my two favorite people. We want to do some special treats this year for Christmas. I want to make a couple of big beautiful cakes this year! I love, love, love cooking and baking!!!

Goal Four Find Some Awesome Lesson Plans Ideas For Zoe. I am always on the look out to improve Zoe’s lesson plans. The past few weeks I haven’t been as creative as I normally am. Time to change that and to kick it in gear for some fun learning!!!!

Goal Five Don’t Sweat The Little Stuff. let’s face it, no matter how big we view an issue while it it happening, once the situation is past we shrug it off as if it were no big deal. Getting upset and worked up over issues, never solves them. It just makes the situation worse in most aspects. For example the head of our motor cracking ha ha. We initially we both very upset. After it sunk in, we looked at all of our options and tried to make the best educated decision for our family. The initial emotion was short lived. We both have brought ourselves to a point where we know that stuff happens, life happens. Getting upset does nothing. We are ready to put the car issues behind us for now and continue to build our savings towards our goals.

Short, sweet, and to the point! I am ready to make this month amazing!!! Hope you all are ready too!!!

October Flew By! Almost Forgot To Do A Goal Recap!!! How Did You Do?

Whew, time is slipping by me! With it being prep week and having to study so much for my CPT I almost forgot to do a goal recap. Whoops ha ha Here is how I fared for the month of October…

Goal One~ Get Moved, Unpacked, And Settled Into The New Place. This goal is always easily achieved for me. With moving around as much as we have, unpacking and getting settling in has become as easy as packing up the house ha ha. I will say, this past move for whatever reason seemed much more taxing on my body than any of the others. perhaps because I was in contest prep and in a calorie deficit, I don’t know? Either way, we are settled and we LOVE the new place and the apartment complex as a whole!!!! Even more awesome is the gym is a five minute walk and Josh’s store is less than ten minutes away. This works out great considering the motor in our car basically died this week ha ha Vegas apt 1vegas apt 2

vegas apt 3

vegas apt 5

vegas apt 6

vegas apt 4

Goal Two~ Join A Gym. Like I stated when I set this goal, we would be joining the gym that was closest to our apartment, The Las Vegas Athletic Club. One word describes this place….WOW! It is HUGE!!! They don’t have as many squat racks as I think they should for their size, but the gym overall is amazing. The daycare is top notch. Zoe has more than enough to keep her busy and happy when she goes in. I thought they only had 3 slides, but they have five, plus a jump house, computers, movies, toys, and all the socialization a kid could want ha ha. They gym as a whole is always busy. They are 24 hours and we have yet to really see a down time. Even with as busy as they are, I rarely have to wait for equipment. The amenities here are just phenomenal! I truly can’t say enough great things about the place!!! I will say though, I am probably the most over dressed female in the building ha ha ha. The ladies here are definitely proud of their bodies. Nothing wrong with that.

Goal Three~ Get Enrolled For My CPT.   So happy I finally have been enrolled. In hind sight I almost wished I had waited till after my competition. Mainly because I did the e-teach route, which does give you deadlines for class discussions and quizzes. It has made for a little bit more added stress for peak week, but I suppose it’s nothing I can’t handle. Definitely a lot more information to learn than I had anticipated as well. Their very though and hands on methods of teaching are awesome though! I am just starting unit 4 and I have already learned so, so, so much!

Goal Four~ Enjoy Our Birthdays. I had initially planned on enjoying cake with Josh and Zoe, but instead I became worried about my conditioning going into this competition. I decided to wait till after to enjoy my cake, which I will on Saturday!!! Josh did not go without though. Zoe and I both made him cakes, which they both thoroughly enjoyed!

Goal Five~ Get Ready To Compete! I am SO ready!!! In Salt Lake, I was worried that I wasn’t going to be ready. Having to cancel that competition was more of a blessing than a curse. it gave me the additional time I needed. I actually started packing up my backstage bag yesterday. i have been prepping my skin for over 2 weeks. josh is ready to help me shave all my unreachable peach fuzz ha ha My posing is on point this year. Josh and I have been working hard on getting me comfortable with my posing mirrorless. I feel like the muscle memory is there this time around. I have to say, I feel different this year than last. Confidence has been built up in the off season and I feel great about what i am bringing to the stage! 4 more days!!!

Goal Six~ Get Your Pose On. This was my weakest asset last year. I would have placed, had I had better posing. In front of a mirror, I did okay. Once you took that away, I was all over the place. Being able to see photos and videos from last year, helped me out a lot. i was able to see what I was doing wrong. I also have been studying the art of posing much more this year. You know that moment you are like Oh THAT’s how you do it! Yeah, I had that a few weeks ago ha ha. my back pose has been my biggest struggle. I finally have it figured out and realized I have been WAY off the whole time. Watching the posing, so many make it look so easy. IT IS NOT EASY. There is a specific way and once you figure it out, you get the feeling for it. One of those I wish I knew then what I know now moments ha ha. It’s like I always say, I am on a continuous learning curve.

Goal Seven~ Pump Up That Confidence Level. Being in peak week, does have my confidence going up and down ha ha. I am depleted completely. Since Saturday I have been doing glycogen depletion training(basically depleting my muscles of all glycogen). Slowly throughout the week my carbs have been reduced to basically nothing. Today is the last day of that and the last day of glycogen training. My muscles are small and flat right now. I am super lean and feel tiny. I am cold, hungry, and tired all the time. I will spend the next two days priming my muscles back up and trying to move as little as possible. More so tonight and tomorrow than Friday. Friday I have my meeting and I get tanned up for the competition. Overall, my confidence has increased this year by ten fold. I still have a ways to go, but am getting better everyday. It is a mental battle. I will say that I do spend time everyday giving myself love. i think self love is important in building confidence!

Goal Eight~ Figure Out When Zoe Is Starting School. We spoke with her educating adviser and they said basically there is no rush to get her started this year. The school we are going with said she can actually take kindergarten and first grade the same year if we chose to do it that way. Or she can just start kindergarten next year and be fine. We will start kindergarten next year and if she excels quickly, then go ahead with first grade as well, but if she wants to take a slower pace, that is fine too. I will never rush her or pressure her to do anything she isn’t ready for. We will play by ear next year.

Goal Nine~ Get Out And Explore.  This has been fun for us so far! We have gone out to the strip a couple of times, hit up some awesome outlet shopping malls, and even took a tour of the National Atomic Testing Museum. Really neat stuff there and a learning experience for all three of us. Groupon has stellar deals on everything here. Luckily Josh bought some before the catastrophe with our car ha ha.  We may be a little tight on the budget, but because he planned ahead we will have some entertainment. Plus, walking the strip is always free entertainment ha ha

Goal Ten~ Relax And Enjoy Life. This goal was a little difficult for me this much. I would for sure say that I failed it. I won’t lie to you, this prep has been difficult for me. I have been cranky and stressed out a lot the past few weeks. I finally have it under control this week. Maybe because I know that it is coming to an end ha ha. I am ready to cross that stage, I am ready to have my post show goodies, I am ready to start reverse dieting, and I am ready to start planning next year. One thing I learned from this prep is that I need to have more patience. I also need to have more control over my own emotions. This will be something I will add to the list of things to work on in my off season!!!

I hope you all have achieved the goals that you set for yourselves. Setting goals and posting them somewhere whether it be online or just on your fridge, gives you a way to stay accountable. Even if you miss the target on a few goals, you just reassess your path and try again. Never give up on anything, especially yourself!

Prep Friendly Nitrox-Pro Peanut Butter Protein Fudge! What!?!? #SupplementsMadeForEliteAthletes @SaturnMuscle

Happy Tuesday! As my prep is winding down and I am getting ready to start reverse dieting, I will still be on what I call “poverty macros” for a little while longer. This whole prep I have been on a sweets kick. Luckily I love to be in the kitchen! Last week I shared with you my Nitrox-Pro Protein Chocolate Fudge recipe.

Shorty after that post went live, I had a few people ask if I could do a macro friendly Peanut butter fudge.  I always welcome a challenge! Especially if it involves peanut butter. If you didn’t know, I LOVE peanut butter!!!

I went to work trying to figure out a way to keep the macros relatively close to that of the chocolate fudge. First attempt was a success!!!

Here is the simple list of ingredients. First and foremost, of course you need Saturn’s Nitrox-Pro Vanilla flavored protein powder. It is personally my choice of protein, because of the higher protein per serving, but you could certainly use Saturn’s Smart Whey or Women’s Pro Whey Advantage. Both work great in this recipe and are just as delectable!!! Next butter or margarine. I use margarine for the lower fat content. Sweetener ( you can use whatever you like best) , salt, Neufchatel cheese (Much like cream cheese, but with better macros) and Peanut Butter powder. I used the Jif, because I personally love the flavor over other brands and I got it on sale.

I start off by melting one serving or 14g of margarine.

Then add in 1/4 tsp of kosher salt, 2 tsps of sweetener, 1 package of Neufchatel cheese, 45g Jiff peanut Powder, 46g Vanilla Nitrox Pro Protein.

You want to mix this till smooth.

Once mixed, spread into a 4×6 dish that is lined with parchment or wax paper.

For a quick set, I pop it in the freezer for about an hour, then transfer it to the fridge. Once in the fridge, do make sure you cover it, because it will start to get a hard crust on top. Once it is set, you can cut and enjoy! This receipe make 8 servings weighing 41g per serving Macros are: 7.5g Fat, 3.8g Carbs, .8g Fiber, 1.4g Sugar, and 10.1g protein. These are AMAZING and hard to stay out of ha ha. They are perfect on prep, or if just looking for a low calorie healthy snack. Zoe couldn’t stay out of these either ha ha. I am working on holiday flavors, so keep an eye out for that! Check out Saturn’s full line of delicious and phenomenal quality  proteins and other supplements. Peak Week Motivation Monday!!! #PoweredBySaturnSupplements @SaturnMuscle

Happy Monday!!!!

Gah I am so very excited to start this week!!! Peak week officially started for me yesterday. Basically it is the final week before competition. I make any minor tweaks I can to have the best conditioning when I hit the stage. Lots of changes from last year’s prep to this year. I learned so much in my off-season and it has been an awesome experience being able to apply what I have learned thus far and seeing the changes it has made in my physique. I am counting down the days till I cross that stage again!!!

Let’s kick this week off in style with a little Lady Swole Monday!

Let’s make this week AMAZING!!!!

Sunday Devotional: Life Happens, But We Will Praise Him In The Storm

Peak week has officially started. I was hoping for a stress free week. Our car overheated and in the process of being repaired, we were told that the head was cracked. This is not an expense we had planned for, nor had we intended to be without a vehicle this week. Hopefully the car is repaired before Friday, so I can get back and forth to the competition. So much for no stress ha ha ha sometimes life happens

Even with this major hiccup, we know things can always be worse. We have faith and know that God will provide one way or another in our time of need. No reason to get upset, because what is done is done. Today is Sunday and every Sunday I look to the sky and praise His holy name!!!!
