Every year thousands eagerly set their New Year’s Resolutions.

One of the top resolutions is to get healthy and/or get in shape. Many start strong and by 4 weeks in, start to revert back to old habits.

One ~ Set A Start Date. Your goal needs a start date. For many it is January 1st or 2nd. No matter what the date, stick to it!

Two ~ Write Down Your Goals. I feel like writing down your goals and your intentions is like making a contract with yourself. Contracts are not meant to be broken, so write it all down and stick it somewhere you will see it everyday. It will help hold you accountable.

Three ~ Do Your Research. Whether you plan hiring a trainer or trying to do it yourself, be sure you do your research and do what will work best for you and your goals. Four ~ Take Weekly Photos & Look For Non Scale Victories. More often than none, your scale may not move right away. Plus there are so many factors involving weight such as, hormones, time of day, stress, lack of sleep, etc. You may be getting results, but not seeing them on the scale, because you lost an hour or two of sleep. I am a stickler of taking photos!!! Pictures don’t lie. Take them weekly in the same lighting, same outfit if you can, and same time of day. You will be able to see small changes and those can be more motivating than anything!!! Look for those Non Scale Victories and free yourself from the dreaded scale!

Five ~ Get Your Micro-Nutrients & Supplements In Check. Supplements are important for many reasons! Many of us are lacking in proper vitamins and minerals in our daily diets.
